An and Kevin: Hampton, Ct

It's a rare privilege to photograph a wedding where you know many of the guests, and this was one of those weddings for me. It was perfect, not just because Kevin and An are a stunning and kind couple, but because they are surrounded by family and friends who possess similar qualities. Add in some late-summer sunshine and an early fall breeze, with just a touch of color in the trees...it's a recipe for a beautiful wedding day. I wasn't the only one remarking on it. While editing these photos I could only think about how I hope some future generations look at these images and say, "Kevin and An have the exact same look in their eyes that they had on their wedding day."

Peace and love.

Lauren and John: Tampa, FL

We go way back. My wife has known Lauren forever. And I’ve known Lauren just a little more than that. And John felt like family within five minutes of meeting him sometime last year. In fact, Lauren is a big part of the story when it comes to how the wedding portion of my business got started. She’s well loved (and for good reason) and referred many of her friends for wedding photography through the years. So OF COURSE we were going to be at her New Year’s Eve celebration!

One of the perks of being out of town for a wedding is we get to spend extra time with the bride and groom and their families. This was such a great way to kick off the new year. Congrats Lauren and John!

Jeremy and Anna: Hebron, Ct

The heat wave broke right before Jeremy and Anna said their vows in the woods of Hebron, Connecticut. Family came from across the globe (literally) to laugh and love with two of the most authentic and funny people I know. Special thanks to the couple for letting me take them through the woods at Gay City State Park and pull some GQ style on the picnic tables.

Please, enjoy.
