About

Hey There.

“Imitation is suicide.” - Ralph Waldo Emerson

It took nearly thirty six years for me to embrace being a photographer. Prior to that, I was a camera for hire. Taking pictures and making video for money was a hustle and the originality, exploration, and intention was lost to the demands of business.

What you have now is a lean harvest of imagery which best represents my work. It’s portraiture. Environmental portraiture to be exact - which is all about context and is about someone. I love it.

This body of work is the union between a love of light and a love of people. There is extensive technical knowledge behind each piece and maybe we can have a chance to create a picture together. Imagine that.
